The cure to late doctors’ appointments is better scheduling, according to studies by Brock University that found around half of all doctors appointments do not start on time. In two separate studies that included data from more than 650 patients, researchers found that most appointments start late because physicians were not yet available. Few were because the patients arrived late. Around 50 per cent of doctor’s appointments start late, a news release by Brock University said Tuesday. One-third of appointments, the studies found, began early, and the rest were on time.
