More than 845,000 people in Hong Kong have booked appointments for the voluntary coronavirus testing program, as of 11:45 am today, the third day of the program. Samples are being collected since Tuesday at centers in 18 districts across the city. As of 8:00pm last night 49,000 specimens collected had been tested, the government said. Positive test results will be referred to the Public Health Laboratory Services Branch of the Department of Health for confirmation. As of 8:00am to 8:00pm yesterday, about 152,000 people had registered at community testing centers.
