Senior party leader Anand Sharma said Prime Minister Narendra Modi must clarify if he supported “private militia” to defend the nation. Shame on you Mr. Bhagwat, for disrespecting our martyrs and our Army. Addressing a press conference, Mr. Sharma said the comments were “sad and disturbing”, and asserted that countries, where such private militias had flourished, had paid a heavy price. Does he wish to sideline the Army and hand over the task of national security to the RSS?
