Army plans recall of 129 dismissed soldiers

The Nigerian Army is planning to recall no fewer than 129 soldiers dismissed from the service. In a memo with reference number, AHQ DOAA/ G1/300/112, dated October 21, 2022, the various unit and formation heads of the dismissed soldiers were directed to provide documents and give remarks on the ex-soldiers. The memo was titled, ‘Forwarding of letter of requests for reinstatement into the Nigerian Army, 91NA/32/4873 SSGT Marcus Suleiman and 128 others’ and signed by Lt Col N. H. Longroe on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff. Calls to the Director of Army Public Relations, Brig Gen Onyema Nwachwuku, rang out.
