DG ISI Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar, DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor and DG MIA also accompanied the army chief. Out of the total 13 militants were hanged before operation Radd ul Fasaad and 43 after the operation commenced. It is expected that the army chief will answer all the questions and attempt to address lawmakers’ grievances. This provision may allow Pakistan to restrict its participation only to the extent of intelligence sharing, training, and other indirect roles. The army chief will also speak to lawmakers about his visit to Iran and its outcomes.
