SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday arrested one of the accused responsible for the murder of Army jawan Irfan Dar , who was on a vacation at his native village when he was abducted and killed by militants.Dar, 23, who worked with the 175 Territorial Army, was killed by militants in Wuthmala village of Shopian district on November 25. Police had found his bullet-ridden body from the village, following which they filed a case against unidentified people under relevant sections.After Wednesday's arrest, police claimed to have solved the murder case. "In pursuance of the said criminal conspiracy, Muzamil went to Irfan's native village, abducted him and took him to an orchard in Wuthmula, where the other militants were already present. The militants then fired at the Sepoy Irfan, resulting in his instant death. After killing Irfan, all of them fled the spot," the police statement said.
