Jenny Armstrong has received a boost to her coaching career. High Performance Sport New Zealand launched the projects, which it is investing $2.7 million in, earlier this week. ‘‘I’ve been involved with Yacht› ing New Zealand for the last couple of years coaching some of the youth teams,’’ she said. The project aimed to boost the under›representation of women in high performance coaching positions. Armstrong hoped it would be a stepping stone for women to reach those top coaching positions.
