Leaside beyond Bayview, Oct. 13I would like to comment on an article that Jonathan Forani wrote about Leaside, my home for the last 49 years. He mentions a few NHL players that lived in Leaside, including Trevor Kidd, Darcy Tucker and Doug Gilmour. But he missed, I think, one of the greats. George Armstrong was the captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs on the last Leaf team to win a Stanley Cup. He also scored the last goal in the winning final game.
