Residents in Southcoates, Hull, have expressed their shock at the ongoing operation, understood to be in relation to a serious assault on Saturday night. One told Hull Live said: "It is scary. Chief Superintendent Christine Wilson said: "Officers are in attendance at an ongoing operation on Durham Street, off Holderness Road in Hull in connection with a serious assault which occurred last night." “Two police men have just walked in the entrance to the flats along with two men in normal clothing," one resident said. "There is a lot of shouting from police and they are blocking the street off even more.”The investigation continues.
