Park Ridge police responded about 10:00 PM Sunday March 19, 2023 to an armed robbery at Mariano’s, 1900 South Cumberland Avenue Park Ridge, IL. The offenders fled in a white and black 2021 Jeep Compass SUV, and were last seen fleeing southbound on Cumberland Avenue from the scene. Three suspects (not two suspects) were captured within an hour after they were spotted with their vehicle near Michigan Avenue and Chicago Avenue about 10:38 p.m. Chicago police surrounded the suspects and vehicles. The vehicle and suspects that were wanted for armed robbery were captured near the Ritz Carlton near Michigan Avenue and Chicago Avenue or Michigan Avenue and Superior after a foot pursuit.
