Monrovia – A man and his fiancée were injured by a group of arm robbers at their residence on the Camp Johnson Road in central Monrovia. Report by Kennedy L. Yangian, [email protected]The incident, which occurred Thursday, January 31, saw William Hoff and Grace Brownell attacked by men armed with knives and scissors. According to the police the two suspects denied the crimes of armed robbery, aggravated assault but allegedly admitted to robbery. The two suspects Kromah and Brooks have been formally charged with criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, and armed robbery and forwarded to the Monrovia City Court on Tuesday, January 5, 2019. The two defendants were later detained at the Monrovia Central Prison where they will remain pending an indictment and prosecution for armed robbery, which is a non-bailable criminal offence under the law.
