KUALA LUMPUR: Professional shuttler, Arif Latif will appeal to the BAM to allow his partner Azriyn Ayub to compete in Level 4 and higher badminton tournaments. Arif, a former BAM shuttler, hopes the national body will be lenient and allow his partner to compete in bigger tournaments, as the two are set to sign a new sponsorship deal. The Negri Sembilan-born shuttler will send an official appeal letter to the BAM this week, as he wished that his partner enjoys the same benefits as him. "I will be sending in an appeal, requesting the BAM to allow Azriyn to play in higher tier tournaments. Both Arif and Azriyn were previously men's singles shuttlers under the BAM banner.
