Musician Ariel Pink clarified his showing of support for President Trump in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, the same day protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol building resulting in riots and at least five people dead. Pink, an indie artist, responded to the chatter by claiming he was in fact in Washington, D.C., but instead of going to the Capitol building he stayed on the White House lawn. As fans claimed to have photographic and video evidence from Moyer's now-private Instagram account of him at the Capitol building, Pink continued: "proof that i stormed congress. She then "felt obliged to record what was happening" in Washington, D.C. as the events unraveled.
