However Pete's lawyer has since issued a statement to PageSix claiming the release was "completely false" and Pete would be pursuing legal action. Pete was famously engaged to Ariana Grande in the summer of 2018 before calling it quits on their relationship a few months later. Opening up about the split, Pete said he knew his time with Ariana would be coming to an end with Mac Miller's passing. After Pete's split from Ariana, he went on to casually date Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley and was linked to Kaia Gerber.
