After earlier adding quarterback Matt Nichols, the Argos beefed up the offensive line with the signing of offensive lineman Dariusz Bladek. Bladek, 25, a former second-round CFL draft pick, is known for being a part of a Saskatchewan line that helped that Rough Riders excel on the ground. The Argonauts also added veteran Canadian offensive lineman Philip Blake, a Toronto native who played in the NFL and was a mainstay in Montreal for years. In another homecoming, Toronto gave Nichols a big target in 6-foor-3 Juwan Brescacin, a Mississauga native, who spent four years in Calgary. The Argonauts also brought in American defensive lineman Craig Roh, 29, a former teammate of Nichols’ in Winnipeg.
