The Argonauts spent parts of two practices this week focusing on blocking and other ways to help give quarterback Ricky Ray better protection in the pocket. Even with Ray leading the CFL in passing yards and S.J. Ray has been able to throw up desperation passes just before getting hit, and Green has come down with them. But the resulting punishment is not something Ray and the Argos can continue, especially given the 37-year-old quarterback’s injury history.
