The Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo and the Argentine-European Network for the Right to Identity shared the news and their concern about the situation. Until recently, if a person had questions about their identity they could contact the network and request a test. The justice ministry — which is in charge of Argentina’s human rights policies — told the Herald that it “has not discontinued” the program.
