The National Electoral Chamber (CNE, by its Spanish initials) published the official final vote count of the presidential elections on Thursday, confirming that 77% of the country’s eligible voters participated in the general election. The DiNE carries out the provisional count on the day of the elections. Runner-up La Libertad Avanza (LLA)’s hopeful Javier Milei obtained 29.99% (0.01% more than in the provisional count) and Juntos por el Cambio (JxC)’s candidate got 23.81% (0.02% less than in the provisional count). The final tally, made by the National Electoral Justice, is the only legally binding one. Both the National Electoral Chamber and the National Electoral Director said that those allegations were unfounded.
