Perhaps these games are influencing our young drivers to believe that they are more capable drivers than what they are in real life and that it's not a problem to lose a life. Perhaps we could use this fascination with games to the benefit of the community by requiring both newly qualified drivers and foreign drivers to undertake driving simulator training before taking their place on our roads. Supplied Are video games like Grand Theft Auto making our young drivers overconfident? There is a lot of pressure on young people, both from peers and parents, to pass through this stage.
