The Washington Post rails against the Trump presidency with an energy sometimes tending towards hysteria. But it seems significant, and dismaying, that amidst thousands of column inches devoted to the incumbent’s shortcomings, scarcely anybody has much to say in praise of his Democratic challenger. Joe Biden appears a decent man who would probably appoint sensible people to pursue rational policies and perhaps rebuild some of the institutions the administration is laying waste. But is this enough? A danger persists
