The law enforcers have not yet been able to identify the militants killed in the blast in Chapainawabganj but are trying to identify them. Kolkata police have recently sought information from Bangladeshi law enforcement agencies regarding three militants. Deputy Commissioner of Kolkata Police (Special Task Force) Murlidhar Sharma told Anandabazar Patrika that they were looking for these three militants all over India and had sent their information and pictures to RAB. “We are investigating the issue of the three militants Kolkata police is looking for and not leaving out any possibility regarding their identities.”He said further steps will be taken after getting the DNA report of the Chapainawabganj militants.
