Air New Zealand and Zephyr Airworks are bringing the world's first electric air taxi service to New Zealand. New Zealand is leading the charge to bring autonomous everyday air travel to the masses, with testing of a pilotless aircraft continuing in the skies above Tekapo. Speaking at the Just Transition Summit in New Plymouth on Friday, Zephyr Airworks country director Anna Kominik said there were eight other companies racing to get a product to the market.
