The Baltimore Orioles, in the throes of one of the worst seasons in baseball history, might be talking about having a new manager in 2019. Bob Nightengale, a baseball columnist from USA TODAY, put the following on Twitter Friday afternoon: "Buck Showalter, the former Rangers managers, also is expected to be dismissed by the Baltimore Orioles at the season's conclusion. Orioles GM Dan Duquette, who got rave reviews for his deadline deals, is expected to receive extension." The Orioles made it to the American League Championship Series in 2014 but Kansas City swept them in four games. But the Orioles simply did not get the kind of performance needed from their players this year as everything went south.
