The transparency non-profit organisation, Open Secrets, and the Southern African Litigation Centre (SALC) last week launched an urgent Gauteng High Court application in Pretoria to review the sale of weapons made in South Africa to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Saudi Arabia and the UAE have been accused of diverting arms to Yemen, where there is an ongoing civil war.
