Ardern has an international profile, as shown by the media coverage of her Harvard speech, and obviously relishes face-to-face contact. Ardern has also secured a meeting with President Joe Biden tomorrow, something that was in doubt. Our weekly webpoll was another indication that Grant Robertson’s Budget has not been warmly received by the general public. With mortgages on the rise and petrol nudging towards $3 a litre, Ardern has plenty of issues awaiting her when she gets back.
