More than 500 archers from 88 countries are participating in the grand eventBangladesh archers moved to the recurve men’s team elimination round after finishing the qualification phase at 16th place out of 55 in the opening day of the World Archery Championships 2019 in Netherlands yesterday. Md Ruman Shana claimed the 20th spot in the qualification with a score of 676 while Mohammad Hakim Ahmed Rubel, Mohammad Tamimul Islam were placed 59th and 67th place with score of 662 and 659 respectively. More than 500 archers from 88 countries are participating in the grand event where six archers from Bangladesh- three in the recurve men’s, one in recurve women’s, one each in compound men’s and women’s event- are taking part.
