ArborXR, a mobile device management company, announced on Wednesday it had struck a partnership with Qualcomm Technologies to assist tech firms in deploying virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) headsets at scale. ArborXR will provide its device management software to Qualcomm XR customers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for “large-scale deployments”, the Norman, Oklahoma firm said, adding OEMs could instal its software early in the development cycle of novel XR reference designs.
