On Thursday, the court of Dhaka's Metropolitan Sessions Judge Qamrul Hossain Mollah granted bail for him until Apr 10. "The court has granted bail with the plaintiff as the guarantor," defence counsel M Jewel Ahmed told bdnews24.com. Prosecutor Tapash Kumar Paul said the plaintiff told the court she had negotiated with the defendant and has no problem if bail is granted. On Jan 23, she started another case accusing Sunny of torturing her for Tk 2 million dowry. On Feb 1, she started another case under Women and Children Repression Prevention Act, in which Sunny was granted bail on Thursday.
