Shots of sunsets and sunrises are arguably the most extreme I’ve seen, while the riot of luminous color that punctuates many of the undersea sequences is like nothing I’ve seen in a 4K Blu-ray before. While the grandstanding wide color and extended dynamic range of the 4K Blu-ray picture might be its highlight, though, the transfer also enjoys an effective increase in sharpness and detail over the HD Blu-ray. Photo: Aquaman, Warner BrosAside from these minor niggles, though, I’m struggling to find anything negative to say about Aquaman’s picture quality. VerdictWhatever your thoughts about Aquaman the film (it might as well be called Marmiteman), the exceptional quality of both the picture and sound quality on its 4K Blu-ray arguably makes it an essential demo-grade addition to your 4K Blu-ray collection. --If you enjoyed this review you might also like these:Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald' 4K Blu-ray Review - Dumblebore'Alien' 4K Blu-ray To Benefit From New Picture-Boosting Technology - But Only If You Have The Right TVSpider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 4K Blu-ray Review - Webbed Wonder'Captain America: The First Avenger' 4K Blu-ray Review: Still No Dolby Vision
