Mara Education Trust chairman Andrew Sunkuli has thanked President William Ruto for appointing Katoo ole Metito as State House Comptroller. Sunkuli, who was Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's preferred running mate in the lead up to the August polls said the appointment is a honour to the Maa community. The Maa nation has received this news very warmly indeed," Sunkuli said in a press statement on Sunday. Sunkuli used the opportunity to urge Soipan and Metito to strive for excellence and fair play in their service of the Kenyan people. "We are really grateful for the appointment and this has proved that the President values the Maa community," Mpatiany said.
