Applications have opened for the fourth edition of the eight-month OceanHub Africa accelerator, which will support up to 12 of Africa’s most promising impact for-profit startups focused on preserving and restoring the health of the ocean. There will also be potential funding of up to US$10,000, and support in preparing and running investor pitches, as well as support in structuring deals. OceanHub offers access to a large portfolio of impact investors as part of its ecosystems. Applicant startups must be ocean-minded, for-profit, and have a scalable service or product available on the market or soon to be available on the market. Applications are open here until May 14, with the eight-month programme beginning in July.
