Apple proposes 13 new emojis to represent people with disabilitiesApple has suggested a new set of emojis to better represent people with disabilities. In a submission to the Unicode Consortium, which reviews requests for new emoji characters, Apple said "adding emojis emblematic to users' life experiences helps foster a diverse culture that is inclusive of disability". The 13 new emojis range from a guide dog to prosthetic limbs to wheelchair users. "Currently, emoji provide a wide range of options, but may not represent the experiences of those with disabilities," the company said. Emojipedia/TWITTER Apple is proposing 13 new emojis.
