By now, everyone has heard about delays in the supply chain. If there’s one company on the planet that understands the electronics supply chain in minute detail, it’s Apple. But again, Apple misjudged the supply chain and was left with bottlenecks, as the Wall Street Journal outlined last month. If the problems are a result of hubris then it indicates to me that Apple has lost its mojo. With rival brands like Samsung and Huawei becoming increasingly adept at working with suppliers, Apple risks losing its hardware edge at a time when its iOS platform is also under fire.
