It's important to note that, just because Apple has filed a patent for a foldable iPhone, doesn't necessarily mean that it will ever see the light of day. Samsung is expected to reveal more details about its foldable smartphone , thought to be called the Galaxy X or Galaxy Fold , at its Galaxy Unpacked event this evening. While Samsung has remained tight-lipped on the details, images of what the foldable smartphone could look like have been leaked on Twitter by The Phone Talks. So far, the only company to launch a foldable smartphone is America-based Chinese electronics maker Royole Corporation . The Royole FlexPai has a flexible display that can be folded at different angles depending on the scenario - whether it's taking photos, watching videos or gaming.
