Did you end up spending most of the weekend restoring your iPhone X as a new device instead? Turns out, Apple pulled the iOS 11.2 Public Beta 1 build for the iPhone X, rendering backups on devices running the first 11.2 Public Beta incompatible with the new iPhone X (running stock iOS 11). There’s currently a version of the iOS 11.2 beta available for developers that is compatible with the X, but it’s not yet been made available through the Apple Beta Program. On the weird side, after my iPhone X upgraded to iOS 11.1, I lost my iPhone X exclusive still wallpaper that's part of iOS 11.2 Public Beta 1. I'll be back later today with info on how to get your iPhone X back into the beta program.
