Apple's first-generation iMac computer has turned 20. It was on May 6, 1998, that the Cupertino-based company introduced its first-ever all-in-one desktop, paving way for advanced computing technologies as we know today. The first iMac was unveiled by the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. Despite the entry-level specifications, as compared to the computers today, the iMac was responsible for bringing Apple back into the business after years of business blunders, Engadget has reported. From USD 1,299-priced original iMac to the present-day iMac Pro at USD 4,999, Apple has brought in revolutionary technology at a premium.
