Cook calls the company’s app ecosystem an “economic miracle,” saying that in 2020, “economic activity from the App Store around the world” totalled $500 billion (U.S.). “There are 243,000 developers who are making their living in Canada on the App Store. Now, he’s turning on the charm to tout the benefits of the App Store for developers along with the protections it offers users.
