As I wrote earlier this year, the iPad feels like one of Apple's slowest-evolving product lines. What could Apple do to help it along? One easy trick would be cutting away the thick bezel around the iPad screen so you get more screen per pound. This would also give us some design cues for how Apple might reimagine the next iPhone. A design change would certainly help signal to consumers it is worth upgrading their iPads.
