It’s been reported that Apple AirPower, the wireless charging pad that will handle compatible iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods with charging case, may actually be about to go into production. The manufacturer is claimed to be Luxshare, which also works on AirPods and some Apple cables, apparently. It’s possible that Apple will take the opportunity to upgrade its AirPods at the same time, by more than just the case. In which case, they may be called AirPods 2 if, as rumored, they include an improved processor which enables hands-free Siri activation. Many have said that Apple had quietly shelved AirPower and it would never come out.
