The account, @Apple, was registered on the microblogging website in 2011, but has been left unused by the Cupertino tech giant. The verified account has recently updated its logo, which now features a black Apple logo on a white background. Apple has not tweeted a single thing from the account till date, but has seen a rapid rise in followers since the account got verified recently. Instead, most of Apple related news is shared by Apple CEO, Tim Cook via his verified account on Twitter. The cover image on the Twitter account does suggest that Apple is readying for the September launch, but as always, it is hard to know what the company plans to do.
