The intention of the cartoonist was to portray the ISIS terrorist group, and may have wrongly used symbols and wordings of the Islamic faith that have nothing to do with the outlawed group. We take this early opportunity to apologise to our Muslim brothers and sisters, and any of our readers, who may have been offended by the cartoon.
