Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi now says that any Kenyan leader blaming cartels for corruption in their area of work is incompetent. According to Ahmednasir, such leaders are using the name of cartels to defend themselves. He went on to say that the other reason they could be doing that is because they could still be deciding, which faction of the alleged cartels to work with. A few weeks ago, the CS suspended the Kemsa board and announced a fresh team led by Irungu Nyakera. She also suspended senior managers at the NHIF, as she seeks to clean house, to ensure proper service delivery.
