KUALA LUMPUR: PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar has described the news of the impending release of her father, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, as one of the best gift to the family. “We have missed so many Ramadan’s and I think that this is the sweetest gift ever for the family and the people of Permatang Pauh,” she said. Nurul Izzah said that her father had requested for pardon petition since 2015. It is not just about my father but (we are) doing this because of justice. Nurul Izzah also said that Anwar had not forgotten about his “big family” in Permatang Pauh and has plans to arrange a breaking of fast session with them.
