Chanat KatanyuThe government is preparing urgent economic and policy measures ahead of its parliamentary statement, aiming to boost growth, ease living costs and steer Thailand out of the middle income trap. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul will deliver his policy statement to parliament during the session on April 9–10. Central to the government's agenda is an inclusive economic policy focused on expanding opportunities for all segments of society. Ahead of the special cabinet session, the new government will formally take office following a swearing-in ceremony before His Majesty the King on Monday in Dusit Palace. Sources said after the policy statement session, the cabinet will on Saturday consider some immediate financial measures to ease the burden on vulnerable groups.
