The ex-boyfriend of an outspoken advocate for domestic violence survivors was indicted Tuesday on charges of murdering her. Nathaniel Mitchell, 34, is accused of beating Donna Alexander in the head with an unknown object on Sept. 21 in her home in Grand Prairie, roughly 13 miles west of Dallas.
