Nice Nailantei, who was among TIME’s 100 Most Influential People, in the world has returned to the country. Nailantei, a 27-year-old anti-FGM activist from Oloitokitok, Kajiado South, is the only Kenyan who made it to the magazine’s 2018 list. Nailantei, a project officer with Amref Health Africa and a champion against female genital mutilation jetted back after attending The TIME 100 Gala event which was held in New York City on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
