Weiner, the disgraced former New York congressman, has been released from a federal prison in Massachusetts and moved to a re-entry center in Brooklyn to serve out the remainder of his sentence for exchanging lewd texts with a minor. Mr. Weiner, who served his first 15 months at Federal Medical Center Devens in Ayer, Mass., was supposed to serve a 21-month sentence, but was granted an early release for good behavior. Mr. Weiner’s lawyers declined to comment, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons did not respond to a request for comment. Mr. Weiner entered prison on Nov. 6, 2017, and must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
