Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-1 personnel have detained Gazipur’s Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) chief Rashedul Islam alias Swapan along with two other accomplices from Chawrasta area of the district on Saturday morning. RAB spokesperson said the detainees have been making plot to attack Kashimpur Jail in a bid to free the militants, including Jasim Uddin Rahmani, confined to the prison. Details will be disclosed at a press briefing scheduled to be held at 11am in RAB 1 office, he added.
