A man from Mymensingh’s Haluaghat Upazila has allegedly been beaten after crossing the border and entering India illegally “for love”. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) rescued him from the border after he sustained injuries. He has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment. The BGB said Anowar crossed the zero point on Tuesday night and entered about 350 yards into India. When his condition deteriorated there, the doctors advised that he be transferred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
