Photo: Lamirana PhotographyThe Rangi Ruru Girls’ School junior water polo team have won the South Island junior secondary schools water polo tournament for the second year in a row. Rangi retained the title they won last year and students Aggie Weston and Hayley Bond were named in the tournament team. The team’s South Island title came a week after they beat St Margaret’s College to take out the Canterbury title. Rangi’s director of sport Mandy Anderson said she is proud of the water polo programme at the school which has been developed over the last two years.
